Real People Don't Have Time for Social Media according to Sarah Perez on ReadWriteWeb ... is this really true? She was referring to a post on Museum 2.0.

What's all the fuss about? Check out a shot of my desktop at 2pm. With this little selection of apps, I can flick through my RSS feeds, share the relevant links with our MindShare Worldwide network on del.icio.us, post to a number of blogs on our Typepad account, Twitter as part of our MSInteraction team using Twhirl. Just in case I can't get enough Twitter with Twhirl I can liaise with my own Twitter network on GTalk IM, call the New York office for free on Skype and conduct change order activity with a group of freelancers on MSN whilst receiving all of my emails via Blackberry (including any updates that have recently happened on Facebook, Plaxo, Linked in, Basecamp etc.).
As a real person (and part geek) I reckon you can be a social media "content provider" in less than an hour a week.

I stumbled across Friendfeed today(apologies if its old hat).
Its a site that helps you keep up-to-date on the web pages, photos, videos and music that your friends and family are sharing. So instead of wading through the ever-growing plethora of sites and apps that we all keep updated, you can use this one site to track what your mates are doing in all their fav places eg flickR, twitter, lastfm etc ....and vice-versa.
FriendFeed aggregates all of your activity from the sites you choose using web crawling technologies similar to those used by search engines.

Search and sharing combined.
Snagsta (now in its pre-alpha) phase is simply a website where users can store lists of their favourite things, places and experiences which they then can share with friends and other users.
The site allows you to create an unlimited numbers of lists on anything. e.g favourite books, movies, plays, hotels etc
